Yvette Marie Dostatni | Holly Holmes | Rafael Nieves

Holly Holmes - Companions. The Riverside Arts Center is pleased to present Holly Holmes’ solo exhibition, Companions in the FlexSpace, curated by Gallery Director, Joanne Aono. Holly Holmes utilizes painting and tufting to express her observations of physical spaces. Through these works, we become companions on her walks where she might sketch a view at a train station or from a porch, later combining them with her thoughts on current events and associated emotional reactions

Yvette Marie Dostatni - Face Value: Identities Both Seen and Unseen. The Riverside Arts Center’s Freeark Gallery is pleased to present a solo photography exhibition by Yvette Marie Dostatni, curated by Laura Husar Garcia. Yvette Marie Dostatni's photographs offer a profound exploration of borrowed, invented and cultivated identities from individuals who find belonging in unconventional ways. Her raw and sometimes gritty imagery sheds light on the stark contrast between the subjects' self-perception and the external gaze from society. From her "American Dream" series to her "Unconventional" photographs, Dostatni's work provides viewers a front-row seat to her visual narrative. This exhibit delves into the complexities of self-expression, personal personas, cultural costuming and the underlying common thread of our search for identity.

Rafael Nieves - Welcome Home. The Riverside Arts Center is pleased to present local designer, Raphael Nieves’ exhibition of graphic posters at the Riverside Town Hall. The Welcome Home series is about nostalgia. It’s about roots.
